Battery Powered Trains To Now Run By Indian Railways!

In the last 3 months, the Indian Railways has launched many new things, the use of clean fuel has been further enhanced by the Railways. The Indian Railways has made a battery-powered engine and has also successfully tested it.
So now it will not be wrong to say that in a few days the trains could be running on the tracks. According to the Railway, this engine has been built to save the consumption of electricity and diesel. A battery-powered Dual Model Shunting 'Navdoot' has been built in Jabalpur division of rail, which has been tested successfully.
This battery operated Loco will be a major step forward in saving the diesel as well as environmental protection. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted that this battery operated loco is a sign of a bright future which will be a major step in saving foreign exchange with diesel and conserving the environment.
Last week, the railway created history by running a 2.8 km long freight train on the tracks. The Railway named this train 'Sheshnag'. 4 engines were installed in this train.
The train ran with 251 wagons. Earlier, the railway ran a 2 km long Super Anaconda with 3 engines with a capacity of 6000 horsepower which had 177 loaded wagons.
