India's Covid-19 tally zoomed passed 9 lakh Mark with 28,498 new cases and 553 deaths, reported in the last 24 hours.The Recovery Rate in the country increased to 63.02 per cent with more than 5.72 lakh Recoveries.
Maharashtra continues to the worst hit state with more than 2,60,924 cases with the addition of 6,497 new cases. Due to this the final year exams in Maharashtra might not be conducted as the situation doesn't not look to ease down any soon. With more than 10,000 deaths and 1,44,507 recoveries, Maharashtra now has more than 1,06,000 active cases.
Mumbai reported 1,174 new cases and 750 recoveries on Monday taking the tally to 93,849 and 65,622 respectively. The Death Toll increased with 47 new deaths, adding the number to 5,332 cases. The active cases now stand at 22,919.
Mira Bhayander continues to see surge in coronavirus cases with 178 new cases and 8 deaths on Monday. Monday also saw 165 new recoveries and the number of Recoveries increase to 4,278. The death toll is reached near 200 with total 199 deaths so far. The number of cases has now 5,746 and the active cases are 1,269 in this township.
