India on Tuesday saw a record number of Recoveries in a single day when 20,572 patients were declared cured. The Country continues to see a surge in new cases and might cross the deadly 1 million mark till Friday according to some sources.
With the emergence of 29,429 cases on Tuesday, the number of cases in the country reached 9,36,181. Even as the recovery rate improved, the death also increased with 582 new deaths taking the toll to 24,309 deaths.The active number of patients in the country stands at 3,19,840.
Mumbai saw 969 new cases and 1,011 new Recoveries in taking the toll to 94,863 and 66633 respectively. Mumbai Recorded 70 new deaths, taking the tally to 5,402. The active cases in the city stands at 22,828 now.
Mira Bhayander saw a dip in number of cases on Tuesday with 105 new cases taking the tally to 5,851 cases. Mira Bhayander reported 8 new deaths on Tuesday as the death toll increased to 207. With 146 new Recoveries, the Recoveries number increased to 4,424. The active cases in this township is now 1,220.
