The spread of Coronavirus doesn't seem to slow down any soon. With the addition of a single day record of 32,695 new cases, the number of cases reached an alarming amount of 9,70,695 cases. With 600 new deaths on Wednesday, the death toll reached 24,929. The number of Recoveries stand at 6,12,814 and the active cases stand at 3,31,146 active cases in the country. India has added 2,01,508 cases in the last 7 days.
Mumbai reported 1,390 new cases and 1,197 recoveries taking the number to 96,253 cases and 67,380 Recoveries respectively. With 62 new deaths reported, the death toll increased upto to 5,464. The active cases in the city now stand at 22,959.
For the first time in almost 3 weeks, Mira Bhayander reported less than 100 cases in a day with 99 new cases on Wednesday. The number of Recoveries reached 4,500 with 76 new Recoveries on Wednesday. The death toll reached 210 with 3 new deaths. The total number of cases reached 5,950. The active cases in this township is 1,242 now. The MBMC have now announced that they will organise a door to door check-up with teams of doctors going to different regions within 5 days of Plan.
