Tuesday turned out to be a very entertaining day for football fans.This Season Serie A race has seen a lot of twist and turns and still is keeps on producing more. 2nd place Lazio has a chance to cut the gap between them and Juventus to 4 points for the time being but extraordinarily slipper up 2-1 against relegation threatened Lecce,who themselves climbed out of the bottom three with that win.
Juventus then had the chance to extend their lead at top of the table by 10 points with a victory against AC Milan.If you want to see an example of how the mighty have fallen then just look at AC Milan. One of the best teams in the 80s,90s and early 2000, Milan are no where near where they used to be. Still everyone expect it to be a big game as Zlatan Ibrahimovic faced off against Cristiano Ronaldo.
After a goalless first half,few would have predicted what's to happen next. Juventus went 2-0 up at San Diego with goals from Out of Favour Rabiot and Ronaldo within 8 2nd Half Minutes. A penalty for AC Milan kick started a comeback with Zlatan Scoring from the spot to make it 2-1 at 62nd Minute. A Stunning Display of 5 minutes saw AC Milan turn the game around and lead 3-2 at 67th minute thanks to goals from Franck Kessié and Rafeal Leao. The two goals were sperated by just 82 seconds. Ante Rebic added a fourth goal to make it 4-2 to the host at 80th minute and went on to clinch the win.After beating Lazio 3-0 away and Juventus 4-2, Milan Fans would be hoping this is the time the change comes for which they have been waiting for.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Chelsea survived in 3-2 away win at Crystal Palace.Whereas Watford won a real 6 pointer against bottom Club Norwich City. A stunning overhead kick from Danny Welbeck completed a 2-1 comeback victory. That Result moves Watford four points ahead of Relegation. Jamie Vardy rescued what could be a crucial point for Leicester in their draw for Champions League spot against 10 man Arsenal.
