Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday inaugurated the first ever Jumbo COVID Facility for Pune at College of Engineering Pune which has 600 oxygen and 200 ICU Beds over a video conference.
He said "Pune has its first jumbo Facility set up within in a short span of time. Also, one to two jumbo facilities will be inaugurated within a week."
The outbreak of Coronavirus has slowled down in Mumbai but has now picked up the pace in Pune. Last week Pune overtook Mumbai in the number of total cases and became the new hotspot in Maharashtra.
It is to been seen that oxygen is more in demand than ventilators therefore around 600 oxygen beds have been installed here. The government now has increased the testing and lowered the price of the test.
