BREAKING NEWS:- Dia Mirza's ex-manager Rahila Furniturewala & 3 others Arrested By NCB for Drugs Supply; 200kg Ganja Seized!

In the latest development related to the drugs case that is part of the ongoing investigation in actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday arrested two Indian and two British nationals after an operation was undertaken and Ganja recovered from one courier in Bandra West.

Among the two Indians arrested in the operation is celebrity Dia Mirza's ex-manager Rahila Furniturewala. The second is Rahila's sister Shaista who too was found in possession of Ganja.

While the further investigation in the case is underway, an NCB statement read, "On the basis of specific information, NCB Mumbai effected a seizure of Ganja from one courier at Bandra West. In the follow-up operation, a huge stash of imported strains of Ganja was recovered from a resident of Jaswant Heights Khar west named Karan Sajnani (British National). Further on the revelation of Karan Sajnani Ganja Bud was recovered from Rahila Furniturewala who is also suspect in the investigation of Cr. No. 16/2020 of Mumbai Zonal Unit. The sister of Rahila Furniturewala named Shaista Furniturewala was also arrested as she too was found in possession of Ganja. Total contraband seized was approximately 200 kg."

The statement further read, "The contraband was packed in the form of pre-rolled Ganja Joints by Karan Sajnani and was marketed to high-class clients in Mumbai and various other states. The smuggling activity was supported by Rahila Furniturewala by providing financial and other aids."

Sushant's friend and Assistant Director Rishikesh Pawar has also been absconding:

Earlier, the Narcotics Control Bureau on Friday carried out searches to look for late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's friend who had skipped the agency's summons for questioning a day earlier in a drug-related case, officials said.

"We are looking for Sushant's friend and Assistant Director Rishikesh Pawar who has been absconding since yesterday," a senior NCB official connected to probe told IANS.

The official said that the NCB had directed Pawar to appear for quizzing on Thursday but he skipped the summons.
