In a quite an extraordinary year for Mumbai which has seen it's highs and lows, the weather has also made a name for itself. Whether it be unbearable hot summers, or heavy rainfalls Mumbai has seen it all.
Though the typical "Winter Season" which is not said to exist in Mumbai by many locals have certainly gave them a fair run for their money.
The past 3 days,Mumbai has been experiencing chilly mornings followed with a little heat and then cold windy nights. Today Mumbai recorded it's lowest temperature this season with the thermometer's reading showed 14.8 Degrees Celsius.
Earlier the lowest temperature marked this season was 15 Degrees. It was Recorded last month. The past 2 days the temperature was 15.3 and 15.2 respectively.
An official of the Indian Metrological Department (IMD) has said "The Santacruz observatory recorded minimum temperature of 14.8 degrees Celsius on Friday morning,making it the season's lowest so far."
On the weather prediction of the next few days he said "The northly winds have pushed the Mercury levels down. There will be no longer change in the temperature for the next 24 hours, but a gradual rise in it is expected in the coming days."
This might be the last spell of chilly winter season as the arrival of Spring Season is due in a months time.
