During a campaign for the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal, Union Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday March 16 said Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee is in the mode of desperation.
He said that Banerjee's allegations of her being attacked by BJP workers is nothing but a move out of desperation to win the sympathy of people and win the polls.
He was quoted by the ANI "No one levelled allegations except Mamata Didi. The reports of probe agencies and observers state that the accident occured due to security lapses. But it is a result of her desperation that she is accusing BJP for her injury. I hope she recovers soon."
Meanwhile today Mamata Banerjee in a rally attacked the BJP and accused them of "conspiring to kill" her.
