With the upcoming West Bengal Elections getting tighter and tighter as each day passes by, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata, to address a large herd of supporters today (7th March 2021).

Yesterday after Kailash Vijayvargiya denied any reports of Actor Mithun Chakraborty joining the BJP at the stage. However today just before PM's rally, Mithun Chakraborty officially joined the Bhartiya Janta Party.

In the rally PM Modi kept on attacking CM Mamata Banerjee and her TMC Government over various topics. He said that the people of Bengal relied on her, but she broke their trust.

"Bengal relied on Mamata Didi(Sister) for change. But Didi and her cadre broke this trust. These people broke the trust of Bengal. These people insulted Bengal and tortured the sisters and daughters here. But these people could not broke the hope and the courage of the people in the state."

PM Modi promised that the BJP will fulfill the lifelong dream of many people of Bengal of 'Sonar Bangla' (Golden Bengal) once it comes to power.

"The dream of "Sonar Bangla" will be fulfilled. I have come here today to assure you of Bengal's development, to increase investments here, to protect Bengal's Culture and to bring change".

Reaffirming to his Mantra of 'Sabka Saath,Sabka Vishwas' he also committed to bring the 'asol poribartan' (real change) in West Bengal where everyone will be treated equally.

He even took a dig at Mamata's nephew Abhishek Banerjee and reminded her that the people of Bengal choose her as their Didi but she preferred to serve as a bua(aunt) to her bhatija(nephew).

He would further on go to accuse the TMC Government for their ruling and corruption and alleged that they have looted money from their very own people and now they can organize a "Corruption Olympics".

"Tolabaazi, syndicate, commission cut! You have done so many scams that a 'Corruption Olympics' game can be organised. You have played with the hard earned money of the people and their lives."

In his final comment against Mamata, he would say that he has known her for a long time but she has changed nowadays and is no longer the same Mamata he knew.

"I have known didi since ages. She is not the same person who raised the voice against the left. She speaks someone else's language now and is being controlled."

PM Modi took an aim and hit back at all the opposition as well as those who claimed that he only aids his friends and not the nation.

"My opposition says that I work for my friends. Who we grow up with are our best friends. I grew up in poverty, hence I understand the plight of poor people living in every corner of India. I work for my friends and will continue to do so" said PM Modi.

The Bengal Elections will be held in eight different phases starting from March 27 and ending on 29 April with the results being announced at May 2nd,2021.
