Congress leaders stage protest in Mumbai and Nagpur against fuel price hike

 

On Thursday 8th July, the Mumbai unit of Congress Party staged a protest in Dharavi against the continuous fuel price hike. This protest was led by Party leader Bhai Jagtap.

Several Congress leaders and workers were seen staging a demonstration at the Rajiv Gandhi Area near Dharavi. The party leaders had also staged a protest for the same cause in Nagpur and were joined by Party's state president Nana Patole and Minister Sunil Kedar.

Patole told the mediapersons that Congress will continue to protest against the fuel hike across the state till July 17.

The price of Petrol in several major cities has already crossed the Rs 100 mark, with the price of Diesel looking likely to cross the three digit figure. 

Yesterday the Delhi unit of Congress had also protested for the above reason outside the residence of Union Petroleum Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan.
