On Friday, 20 August 2021, the identity of both terrorists killed in an encounter with security forces during the wee hours in Awantipora of Jammu and Kashmir has been identified by police.
The terrorists has been identified as Musaib Mushtaq of Khrew and Muzamil Ahmed, a resident of Chakoora, Pulwama. Mushtaq was involved in killing of Javid Ah Malik at Lurgam. This was a hit squad of Hizbul Mujahideen responsible for civilian killings in South Kashmir.
