After the Maharashtra Government announced the reopening of religious places of all faiths from October 7, they have now announced the reopening of Cinema Halls and Auditoriums after October 22.
According to Chief Minister's Office (CMO), the authorities are working on creating detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Cinema Halls and Auditoriums. These SOPs are expected to be announced soon.
"Theatres and auditoriums in Maharashtra will reopen after 22nd October while observing all COVID safety protocols. SOP is in the works and will be declared soon" a tweet from CMO Maharashtra read.
