SuperGaming’s Indus Battle Royale surpasses 5M downloads

SuperGaming's Indo-futuristic Battle Royale game Indus Battle Royale has surpassed 5 million downloads on Google Play Store and over 100,000 installs on the iOS App Store, cementing its status as one of India’s fastest-growing games.

Recognized as the Best Made in India Game in Google Play’s Best of 2024 awards, Indus has captivated players with its blend of Indian culture and futuristic aesthetics, immersive gameplay, and innovative features like Cosmium Clutch, Grudge Mechanic, and culturally inspired avatars and weapons.

The game’s momentum continues with its first international community playtest at the YGG Play Summit in Manila, Philippines, where Kadiliman Esports emerged victorious. This event reflects SuperGaming's vision to expand globally while staying connected to its community.

“Surpassing 5 million downloads is more than a milestone—it’s a reflection of the enthusiasm our players have for Indus,” said SuperGaming co-founder and CEO Roby John.

“Hosting our first international playtest at the YGG Play Summit was another defining moment for us, and a reminder of what gaming can achieve—bridging cultures and bringing people together. We’re driven to keep breaking new ground and taking Indus to even greater heights, reaching newer players across the world,” he added.

To bolster India's esports scene, SuperGaming has launched the year-long Clutch India Movement, starting with the Indus International Tournament (October 2024 to February 2025), featuring a prize pool of Rs 2.5 crores and uniting top Indian and global teams. Regular updates based on player feedback ensure Indus remains fresh and continually improves, redefining the global perception of Indian gaming.
