Earlier this week, Actress Rhea Chakraborty had received Rape and Murder Threat on social media due to her connections with the Late Sushant Singh Rajput.
On Saturday Night, Mumbai Police caught two Instagram Users with the help of Cyber Crime team and have taken them into custody.
Rhea Chakraborty, Co-Actor and friend of Sushant Singh Rajput who died on June 14 by commiting Suicide had received this threats on her Instagram account on Thursday which she shared on her handle by Screenshot.
She shared that message and replied "I was called a gold digger..... I kept quiet I was called a murderer...I kept quiet I was slut shamed.... I kept quiet... But how does my silence give you the right to get me RAPED or MURDERED if I don't commit suicide?" (She even mentioned the name of the account which has now been taken down).
Zone IX DCP, Abhishek Trimukhe said "On the actor's complaint, an offence has been registered at the Santacruz Police Station against two accounts holders for sending obscene and threatening messages."
The case is registered under IPC's Section 507(criminal intimidation) Section 509(insulting the modesty of a woman) and section 67 of the IT ACT (publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form)
