Mr. B.N. Tiwari, president of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE)-an association of film artists, filmmaking workers and technicians; clarified the ongoing news about the alleged involvement of Indian Artists with the ISI (Pakistani organization) saying, "The country has always been paramount for the Federation.
The Federation does not support any activity that threatens the country's internal security."
In a statement issued by the Federation; President of the institution, Mr. B.N. Tiwari, General Secretary Mr. Ashok Dubey, Chief Advisor Mr. Ashok Pandit and Treasurer Mr. Gangeshwar Lal Srivastava, all three of them said the institution is involved in raising funds, raising awareness and other campaigns for the country and citizens.
The federation has said that some pictures have been going viral since a few days, in which it is shown that some Indian cine artists have relations with some agents of Pakistani organization, ISI. The Federation strongly condemned this and appealed to all artists, workers and technicians to immediately break ties if anyone has relations with any anti-national people or organisations including ISI.
With this, the institution has requested the government to seriously investigate the matter and declare the names of artists who have connections with anti-national forces.
After all, the Federation has said that the actors involved in the production of the film do not support any anti-national acts and for them, patriotism lies paramount. FWICE President Mr. B.N. Tiwari has also requested all the artists and singers, whose names have also come directly or indirectly in anti-national activities; to should put forward their statement on this subject so that the situation is clear.
