With 20,903 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, India's COVID-19 count went over 6.25 lakh cases. A total of 6,330 COVID-19 cases and 125 deaths were reported in Maharashtra, taking the total number of cases to 1.86 lakh. Mumbai's COVID-19 tally rose to 80,262 with the addition of 1,554 new cases, while 57 fresh deaths took the toll to 4,686. While the tally of COVID-19 cases crossed the 80,000-mark, the number of recovered patients topped 50,000.
The metropolitan satellite township of Mira Bhayandar reported its highest single day spike in COVID-19 cases on Thursday when 171 people tested positive for the virus, while 4 more people succumbed to the infection.
The MBMC have reported that 2,648 people have recovered from this virus with 150 taking place on Thursday.The Total Cases Stand at 3,609 with 149 deaths. The active cases stand at 812 cases.
