The Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) have slammed the Galaxy Hospital in Mira Road after complaints received from the citizens over more money for the treatment of corona patients.
The Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has revoked the recognition of Galaxy Hospital as a Dedicated Covid Hospital (DCH) and has issued them and order to return back the money received from the patients for the treatment in the private hospital.
Private Hospitals in the MBMC have been ordered to reserve 80% of beds for corona patients. It has also mentioned that if any Hospital is found violating the rules then strict action will be taken against them.
So now Galaxy Hospital will no longer be a DCH and will not treat anymore cases of COVID-19 and will work normally as it did before the pandemic.
