It is advised to maintain physical distancing and immersion of Lord Ganpati Idols for the 10 days Ganesh Chaturthi occasion must be done within one's own house or society premises.
Like every year, Chowpatis which remain open for Idol immersion, has been ordered to be kept closed by Dr. Vijay Rathore, commissioner of the Manpa, this year.
The Manpa commissioner, in his order, has highlighted 6 issues; In which it has been said that the general public should install the traditional idol and take special care that there is no crowd at home. Also immersion should be done at home or else in society.
The general public will have to face a lot of problems due to this order because there is no system for idol immersion in any society.
Every year Ganpati idols were immersed in areas like Shivar Garden, Kashimira, Penkar Pada, Jaisal Park, Uttan, Govrai Bhayander Pond. The devotees of Ganesha will have to face a lot of trouble this year due to the corona crisis. How to immerse in society: - Deep pits have to be made; Special attention should also be paid to these sort of pits for any untoward incident. Artificial tanks could also be built.
