| Air India to operate in this pact between France,US and India |
Civil Aviation Minister,Hardeep Singh Puri on Thursday said that the government have established individual bilateral bubble with France and The United States,that will allow airlines of each country in the pact to operate international flights. Hardeep Singh Puri also said that a similar pact with Germany and the United Kingdom will soon be permitted.
From India, Air India will be operating flights to France and US under these bubbles. An Air Bubble is a bilateral agreement with a set of regulations and restrictions in which the carries of the two countries can operate international flights.
Scheduled International Flights have been suspended in the country since the outbreak of global pandemic Covid-19 in the country from March 23. After two months of lockdown,the government decided to resume domestic flights from May 25.
With regards to the pact, Air France will be operating 28 flights between Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Paris from July 18 to August 1. The American Carrier, United Airlines will operate 18 flights between India and the US between July 17 to July 31.
