Tensions between the US and Iran intensified on Tuesday after the Iranian military first fired a missile at a dummy of the US Aircraft Carrier and then several missilies were fired into the sea near the Al Dhafra air base of UAE. These are the same bases where 5 Rafale fighter jets which are supposed to reach India today were also standing. After this Iranian missile test, the entire French base was put on high alert and Indian pilots were also on alert all night. However the 5 Rafales have taken off at 11 am Today( 29 July 2020). Any delay in reaching of the flights have not been informed yet.
Shortly before this, Iran released a video in which a dummy resembling a US warship at sea was targeted with a missile. This video has been taken by the US forces as a warning to Iran and currently all the regional bases of the Middle East have been asked to be on high alert.
The US Central Command confirmed the Iranian missile test and reported that Iran had fired several missiles near the Strait of Harmuj on Tuesday. According to the information received, two days ago, an Iranian passenger plane was surrounded by American jets in Iraq's airspace, this reaction of Iran is believed to be the result of that. Iran has conducted missile tests so close to American and French military bases only to demonstrate strength.
