Just ahead of the release of her biopic, Guinness World Record finally awarded the late mathematics genius Shakuntala Devi with an official certificate for the record of the Fastest Human Computation. This certificate was received by her daughter Anupama Banerjee.
Shakuntala Devi set the record of the fastest Human Computation when she multiplied two random 13 digit number in just 28 seconds at the Imperial College London on June 18,1980.
The biopic "Shakuntala Devi" is upon the life of her as a person and as a mathematics wizard through the eyes of her daughter. The film is written and directed by Anu Menon and stars Vidya Balan as Shakuntala Devi and Sanya Malhotra as Anupama Banerjee.
