Delhi government has reduced VAT on diesel from 30 per cent to 16.75 per cent. Delhi government had increased VAT on diesel in May. Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejrival said that decrease in VAT will also lead to decrement in price of diesel from Rs. 82 Per liter to 73.64. This makes diesel about 8.6 rupees cheaper.
