A Bowler and Staffs of CSK have been found COVID-19 Positive

The Dream of competing of Chennai Super Kings in this year's late IPL Season to be held in serious jeopardy after a Bowler and around 12 players have been found positive for COVID-19.

CSK along with Royal Challengers Bangalore and Defending Champions Mumbai Indians have arrived in Dubai for this season edition of IPL. The Chennai franchise trained in Chennai and then left for Dubai.

According to IPL's protocols, the players will be tested on the first,third and sixth day of the Quarantine period and would be allowed to train only if there result came negative. This news comes as a major shock for the 3 time Champions.

Sixty Games will be played over 53 days across three venues Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Dubai also hosted the 2014 IPL because of elections in India.

What will happen to the tournament because of this news is yet to be seen. For CSK and Dhoni fans this could be major blow who were eagerly waiting to see Dhoni play again after the legend announced his retirement from International Cricket on 15th August.
