Major Blast in Capital of Lebanon

                                              

A Mountain of smoke arising from the explosion area

A huge blast has been reported in centre of city Beirut,Lebanon killing atleast 10 people and sending shock across the entire city shattering glasses of apartments and causing some buildings to collapse.

The blast has occured in the city port area where there were warehouses house explosives. Some sources said there were chemicals stored into area.

It is not immediately clear of what had cause this explosion or what kind of explosives were there in the warehouse. The governer has told that the firefighters that were seen have "disappeared" from the sight now.

According to some sources "they number of casualties may increase as time goes by.
