After arresting Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and others in the drug abuse angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is all set to unearth the drug mafia in the tinsel town.
[It is to be noted that, On 7th September 2020 the Prime accused Rhea Chakraborty who is currently in Byculla jail on charges of Drug procurement; had in Complete Presence of Mind Accepted that She Had Procured Drugs through her brother Showik and had Maliciously made Sushant Singh Rajput addicted to it.]
Reports say that the accused have named some Bollywood celebrities who will now be summoned by the NCB in the case. About 25 A-lister Bollywood celebrities have been named in the case which includes actors, directors, casting directors, production houses and others. These are the people who have indulged in the procurement, consumption and peddling of drugs.
The report further added that the names in the list are quite high profile and hence the NCB is very carefully monitoring the case. A meeting is currently underway in Delhi headed by KPS Malhotra and DG Asthana of NCB. The meeting will essentially be focusing on how they will be proceeding with the investigation forward.
Earlier today, Special court rejected bail plea of Rhea Chakraborty and other accused in the drug case.
