On Monday a major accident took place at the Crawford Market when a car slammed in Cafe Janata after driving over 3 women and a men and Killing them in the process. The accused of that accident, Driver Sameer Ali has now been arrested by the police.
Sameer Ali (46) says that he had suffered an epileptic attack on the time of the incident. An Epileptic attack also popular known as Seizure mostly last for 2 minutes. During a seizure the whole body might start to shake depending upon the symptoms.
His Family told the police that he was undergoing treatment for epileptic since the past three years. According to the sources, Police say that once his family had 'faked his death' to avoid him from suffering in a case 2 decades ago which the family strongly denied.
Ali has been booked under relevant sections of culpable homicide not amounting to murder,rash and negligent driving. He has been produced in the court on Tuesday and will remain in police custody till September 4th.
The accident killed 4 on the spot and one person Kamlesh Singh (21) succumbed to injuries on Early Morning on Tuesday, 1st September 2020. The other injured people are still recovering at the JJ Hospital.
