Health Campaign "My Family,My Responsibility" starts from today

The Health Campaign announced by Maharashtra's  CM Udhaav Thackeray "My Family, My Responsibility" will start from today i.e 15 September 2020 when Health Experts will go 'door-to-door' at houses in the state and check the condition of people.

Under this campaign, the government plans to check the health conditions of around 2.25 crore families with the help of Health Department, NGO's and experts to control the spread of Covid-19.

As a part of the campaign, volunteers will go Door to Door to reach out to the masses and check their oxygen level and whether they have fever or not,also provide them health education and check for COVID symptoms. If someone is found of having symptoms then they will be referred treatments.

Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal said that volunteers will meet each family twice during this campaign. BMC has also released some set of guidelines to be followed by people at housing societies,shops,malls,workplaces and while transporting in Public.

Chahal added "Unless an effective vaccine is found, Residents need to comply with all these measures and cooperate with the government".

Maharashtra is the worst hit state in the country with more cases than a country(Russia) with 10,77,384 cases out of which 2,91,256 are undergoing treatment now and around 7,55,850 have recovered from this virus in the state.
