The army said on Saturday that the Hizbul Mujahideen is trying to re-infiltrate Northern Kashmir. A day earlier, security forces in Baramulla district killed three militants of the terrorist organization in an encounter.
Deputy Inspector General of Police(North Kashmir Range) Mohammad Suleman Chaudhary addressed a press conference jointly with Brigadier NK Mishra, commander of the Rashtriya Rifle of Sector 3. He said that Hizbul Mujahideen militants were killed in northern Kashmir after a long time.
Only Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists have been killed in recent years. The military official said, "the activity of the terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen in North Kashmir is very low these days. It seems that Hizbul will again try to step in North Kashmir."
