It has been a season of surprises in Football. Yesterday Argentine And Barcelona great Lionel Messi lashed out his frustration at his club. He was already angry with president Bartomeu about his own exit being blocked but how they handled the transfer of his great friend Luis Suarez.
After the demolishing defeat of 8-2 by the hands of Bayern Munchen, it was clear that their would a huge squad overhaul. Barcelona appointed Ronald Koeman as their new manager. He would make his intentions clear that he does not see Suarez in his future plans.
Messi who himself wanted to leave the club but was not allowed to as they only way to leave the club was for someone to pay €700 million as the buy out clause, was in no mood to take prisoners.
He took to his Instagram and wrote "You deserved a sending off fit for what you are: one of the most important players in club's history,both for what you did for the group and individually- not the one they have you. But it is true that at this point nothing surprises me."
Suarez leaves as Barcleona third highest goalscorer with 198 goals. He joined from Liverpool in 2014 and helped the club win 13 titles including 4 La Liga Titles and 1 Champions League.
