Mumbai: A Married Man Lied About Being COVID-19 Positive to Family, Elopes with Girlfriend to Indore

 

The Novel Coronavirus is spreading faster than ever in the country. More than 90,000 cases are being detected everyday. People are trying to survive and get back to normal lives following different precautions and then there are some people like him.

Yesterday Mumbai Police caught a Married Man from Indore with his 'girlfriend' with whom he had eloped in June after lying to his Family that he was Corona Positive and would not survive long.

According to the police on June 24, the man Manish Mishra who is a supervisor  employed with clearing agent JNPT in Navi Mumbai called his wife and told her that he has tested positive for Covid-19 and won't survive long enough and switched off his phone the next day.

After missing for 2 days, his family would launch an FIR in Police Station. In the investigation Police found that his phone was switched off in Vashi. The Investigators started forwarding his images to other police stations in different states.

Inspector Sanjay Dhumal said "We got the first lead through a CCTV footage in Airoli where he could be seen travelling in a car with a woman." Later it was found that he had an extramarital affair and was living with his lover in Indore. He was then later caught and brought back to Mumbai.
