Rhea's brother Showik Chakraborty has been arrested by the NCB on 4th September 2020 evening. Showik was being interrogated after the agency raided Rhea's residence.
According to sources, it is said that Rhea Chakraborty will also be sent A summon soon by the NCB(Narcotics Control Bureau).
- NCB has also arrested Samuel Miranda.
- Earlier today, Showik Chakraborty has confessed during his interrogation with the NCB that he used to arrange the drugs on his sister Rhea's instructions. He also stated that Samuel Miranda used to arrange it and bring it to Sushant's home. Showik also was in touch with many drug peddlers.
- Drug peddler Kaizan Ebrahim has been arrested by the NCB. The development in the fifth arrest made by the investigating agency in the Sushant-Rhea case.
- Sandip Singh is likely to be questioned by the CBI, which has been investigating the high-profile case. The producer, who claimed to be Sushant's close friend, has been under lens over his contradictory statements and actions at SSR's home and the Cooper Hospital.
- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) questioned Cornerstone CEO Bunty Sajdeh at the DRDO guest house. Bunty Sajdeh's talent management company was handling Sushant Singh Rajput.
- WhatsApp chats between Sushant and his bank manager's chats from May 20 has been accessed. The actor wanted to take charge of his finances, amid the expenditures made by prime accused Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik.

- Sources have confirmed that the murder angle had not been dismissed and that reports suggesting this may be 'planted'. A five-member medical board of forensic experts was formed by the AIIMS to look into the autopsy files related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death after the CBI approached the hospital for assistance.
- Alleged drug peddler Basit's NCB custody extended till September 9. He will be questioned again by the NCB team.
