Today's Date September 11 will always be remembered by the people of America,as one of the most deadliest terror attack took place in New York City in 2001 which shook the entire nation.
Nobody on that morning would in their wildest dreams would have imagined what will happen on that day. A team of 19 Terrorist hijacked 4 airplanes namely American Airlines Flight 11,United States Flight 175 , American Airlines Flight 77 and United States Flight 93. This attack was conducted by Islamic Terrorist Group al-Qaeda under the leadership of Mohammed Osama Bin Laden.
This attack resulted in the fatalities of around 2,997 people and over 25,000 injuries including the paramedics and firefighters. It remains to be the deadliest attack in human history.
2 planes American Airlines Airlines Flight 11 and United States Flight 175 were crashed into the North and South towers of the World Trade Center complex of Manhattan. People started to run and scream for their lives.
Within 1 hour and 42 minutes the 2, 110 Storey Towers collapsed resulting in the collapsing of other all other building in the Tower Complex including the 47 Storey, 7 World Trade Center.
The third plane America Airlines 77 was crashed into the Pentagon(The Headquarters of US Department of Defense) in Arlington County, Virginia.

The Fourth Plane, United States Flight 93 was intially on its way to crash into Washington DC but crashed into Stonycreek Township, Pennsylvania after the passengers of the plane attacked the hijackers.

During Investigation it was found out that this attack was lead by International Terrorist Osama Bin Laden. Many enquires and investigation were set up to find him. Eight Hours after the attack then US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld declared that 'The Pentagon is Functioning'.

Prime Suspect Osama Bin Laden became the main target of the US for more than a decade from 2001-2011 and the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) placed $25 Million bounty on the search from him.
On May 2,2011 the people of America finally got their revenge when the news came in that Bin Laden was shot dead by the US Navy SEALs inside a private residental compound in Abbottabad,Pakistan under the orders of then President Barack Obama.
