7:27 PM, 8th September:- Rhea Chakraborty currently being brought back to NCB office where she will be presented before the court via video conference. Deputy DG Ashok Jain confirmed that the NCB will seek judicial custody of Rhea Chakraborty; he also added that the NCB will also oppose her bail application. Further updates will be posted soon.
After Sushant Singh Rajput's Manager Raees was summoned by NCB on Tuesday(8th September), Rhea was arrested by The NCB at 3:30 pm under sections 89(c), 20(b), 27(a), 28 and 29 of the NDPS Act. Thereafter Rhea's family was informed of her arrest.
After 4pm Rhea was taken to Sion Hospital by the NCB for COVID antigen test and medical examination. Her Covid reports were negative.
