Uddhav: Covid Crisis not ending any time soon

Maharashtra' CM Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday said that the Covid-19 crisis will not end anytime soon as some people think.

During his speech before the conclusion of the curtailed monsoon session of the state assembly, The CM Said "We were able to contain the number of cases between March and May, but it doesn't seem like the pandemic will be conquered in the near future. Even the World Health Organisation has indicated that it won't end soon."

Maharashtra has been the worst hit state in the country with around 9,23,641 cases and 27,027 deaths by September 7. He admitted that the crisis was worsening and the number of cases was increasing across the state. He thanked and defended the government for taking right measures at the right time. 

"For now the only thing in our hands is to take adequate precautions to contain the virus" as he continued to explain the intiative taken by the government in Door-to-Door screening of people. The Project My Family,My Responsibility will start on September 15 and end on October 10. The second phase will be from October 12-October 24.
