Rhea-Showik's chats on drugs accessed
Chats between Rhea and Showik allegedly about narotics has been accessed. In the chats from March 2020, the siblings were talking about marijuana, with Rhea asking Showik about how much 'bud' was needed. The involvement of the home staff Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant has also come across as the talk about the procurement took place on their private WhatsApp group.
- Sushant's business partner Varun Mathur is still being questioned by the ED. Snooker player Rishabh Thakkar too is being questioned. At the same time, the CBI is quizzing Bunty Sajdeh, who is the CEO of Cornerstone, the company for which Disha Salian used to work.
- Rhea Chakraborty's father Indrajit Chakraborty's questioning at the CBI on Thursday ended after 5 hours. He has been questioned for the third day in a row. However, on Thursday, Rhea's mother Sandhya was not present. Indrajit Chakraborty was escorted by Mumbai Police.
- As per sources, Sushant's business partner Varun Mathur in his statement to ED, stated that Sushant was keen to make a biopic on Saurav Ganguly with his own banner.
- Varun further added that Sushant had spoken to him about making a virtual reality film on 12 famous people which includes Swami Vivekananda, Mother Teresa, Rabindranath Tagore, Mahatma Gandhi.
- Alleged drug peddler Zaid Vilatra has been sent to Narcotics Control Bureau's (NCB) custody till 9th September. He was arrested on Wednesday in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
[Sushant Singh Rajput's family lawyer Vikas Singh said on Thursday that the Mumbai police produced its statement regarding the actor’s alleged ‘suicide’ to the Supreme Court in a sealed cover and the family was unaware what was written in the statement.
In a press conference, the senior advocate said that Sushant’s family has never given any statement regarding Sushant committing suicide. These statements were recorded by the Mumbai Police either through friendly media or through the accused, he claimed.
“The Mumbai police recorded statements and presented them in a sealed cover. We were not aware of what was written and therefore could not respond to the claims. We have never said such things,” Vikas Singh told the media.
When asked to comment on the keys to Sushant's Bandra apartment that were reportedly still missing, Singh said that it is a serious matter, but refused to comment further as it is still under investigation.]

Cornerstone CEO Bunty Sajdeh arrives for CBI questioning
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday summoned Cornerstone CEO Bunty Sajdeh in what can be seen as the first big step by the central agency to probe any potential link between the Sushant Singh Rajput case and Disha Salian's death.
Before her demise, Disha Salian was working with Bunty Sajdeh's talent management company Cornerstone which was handling Sushant Singh Rajput. As per sources Bunty Sajdeh is currently at the CBI's DRDO guesthouse and will undergo questioning by the central agency.
