As reported yesterday that CM Uddhav Thackeray has announced the Door to Door Check Up of people, the campaign "My Family,My Responsibility" will start from September 15.
The campaign will be statewide and will scan around 2.25 Crore families for Covid-19. This campaign will be done in 2 phases and the first phase will end on October 10.
The Campaign is aimed to control the spread of the virus while the restrictions of Lockdown are starting to ease down. The second phase of this campaign will begin from October 12 and is scheduled to be completed by October 24.
Volunteers will go Door to Door to check for fever and oxygen level of residents as well as look for those who might show symptoms of Covid-19. Apart from that they will also check for people will ailments like heart problems,kidney problems etc.
An offical said that "These teams will check for fever, oxygen level and comorbidity among people and refer them to a doctor if any symptom is found."
Maharashtra is the worst hit state in the country with around 8.6 lakh cases. Maharashtra is the home of two worst hit cities in the Country, Pune and Mumbai with both having around 1.8 lakh and 1.5 lakh cases respectively. Around 25,694 have died in Maharashtra due COVID-19.
