Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive for COVID-19

He came in contact with many players but fortunately all others have been tested negative

The Portuguese Football Federation released a statement on Tuesday that star man and Captain Cristiano Ronaldo has been tested positive for COVID-19 and has left the squad for self isolation and treatment.

The Federation also stated that the results of rest of the Portugal squad has come negative so have been the results of France National Team who played Ronaldo and Co in a goalless draw in last week International Friendly.

He is said to be 'asymptomatic' and is now doing okay according to several reports. His absence is a big blow for Juventus as according to new rules he is said to have 10 days of Self Isolation and Juventus face FC Barcelona in 15 days time in the Champions League.

This would mean that he might not be able to stay fit for the clash against Barcelona and fans might not be able to see the much Anticipated Messi-Ronaldo clash.
