PM Modi travels in the first seaplane flight

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the ride of the first seaplane flight in India when he travelled from the Statue of Unity in Kevadia,Narmada to the Sabarmati riverfront in Ahmedabad. This flight was operated by SpiceJet owned subsidiary, Spice Shuttle.

After landing at Ahmedabad, PM Modi took part in the inauguration of the water drome at the riverfront of Sabarmati and which he left for Delhi. SpiceJet have said that they will operate two daily flights on the Ahmedabad-Kevadia route from October 31st,2020.

This service will now be open to public from Sunday onwards. It is estimated that the travel time through these will be around 50 minutes. Booking for seaplane flight has already began online and is excepted to become a tourist attraction in the near future.
