Punjab CM Amarinder Singh introduces three new bills;Says Not Afraid to lose post as CM

On Tuesday, Chief Minister of Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh said he his not afraid of losing his post and is even ready to resign while moving 3 bills in the Punjab Assembly to counter centre's farm laws.

While introducing the bills he made this bold statement "I am not afraid of resigning. I am not afraid is my government is dismissed. But I will not let the farmers suffer or be ruined".

He would further go on to add "If the farm laws are not revoked, angry youths can come out on the streets to join the farmers,leading to chaos. The way things are going on, the situation has potential to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the state".

The bills introduced by him are, the Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce Special Provisions and Punjab Amendment Bill 2020, the Essential Commodities Bill 2020, the Farmers Agreement and Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill 2020.
