Rafael Nadal Beats Novak Djokovic to win 13th French Open Title

Nadal won his 13th French Open Title

And that's its. The matchup of two of the greats of Tennis saw World Number 2 Rafael Nadal beat World Number 1 Novak Djokovic in what appeared to be a pretty one sided game to win his record 13th French Open Title and equal Roger Federer's record of 20 Grand Slams.

Nadal looked absolutely comfortable on the clay and started dominating the match and forced Djokovic to commit errors. He won the first set by a comfortable score of 6-0.

He then kept the momentum with him and took a firm girp in the match when he won the second straight set, this time by a score of 6-2.

In the third set, Novak Djokovic showed Nadal and the world that there is a reason he is ranked at number 1. He started to take control of the match and forced Nadal into making mistakes.

It was a topsy turvy third set, as both of them get trading blows and taking lead. Despite all his(Djokovic) efforts,Nadal held his nerve and won the third set to sweep the game by a score of 5-7. This match would go down as one of the most dominating performance by Rafael Nadal.
