This week's Sunday Special is the 1967 Manoj Kumar starrer Patthar Ke Sanam. It also stars Waheeda Rehman, Mumtaz, Pran, Mehmood, Lalita Pawar and Aruna Irani.
This film features some of the great hits of that era composed by the Legendary Laxmikant Pyarelal and veteran lyricist Majrooh Sultanpuri. The title song sung by Mohammed Rafi is a classic. This movie was directed by Raja Nawathe and produced by the Nadiadwalas.
Started off as a prank then turned in real love, the story follows the journey of friends Meena(Mumtaz) and Taruna(Waheeda Rehman) as they fell in love with Rajesh(Manoj Kumar).
