The Supreme Court of India on Wednesday (11th November 2020) early evening hours ordered immediate release of Republic Tv's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami.
Earlier today, Justice Chandrachud read out CJM's remand order and said that the individual role of accused is not made out and no prima facie case under Section 306 IPC is made out to justify the arrest of the accused.
"Even in anticipatory bail, courts pass interim order not to arrest while notice is issued," observes Justice Chandrachud as Supreme Court hears Arnab Goswami's bail petition.
