Amid the surge in Covid-19 Cases again in European Countries, India has showed some signs of control and slowing down with active cases dropping constantly. With 58,323 recoveries on Monday, the number of Recoveries crossed the 76 lakh mark in the country.
With a surge of 38,310 new cases the caseload reached 82,67,623 cases. With yesterday's number of Recoveries, the active cases have dropped down below 6 lakh mark with 5,41,405 active cases. The fatality rate has dropped below 1.49% while the recovery rate jumped up to 91.96%
Maharashtra,Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka all have seen a dip in the active number of cases. Mumbai yesterday reported it's lowest tally in 2 months with around 706 cases. The recovery rate in the city now stands at 89% with 17,000 active cases. The doubling rate has also increased up to 182 days.
Hope this are signs of slow down of the virus and the country doesn't have to go through another wave of cases and lockdown.
