Democratic Candidate Joe Biden went closer to the White House and becoming the new President of USA as he expanded his lead over Donald Trump but the TV and news outlets are yet to announce this as the official votes are still in counting in some states and the race is expected closer there.
They(Decision Desk HQ) became the first outlet to make this call when they tweeted out on Twitter after the results of ballots came in from Philadelphia that has given Biden a 5,500 votes lead in Pennsylvania.
There are still more than 100,000 ballots to be counted but sources say that they are mostly tilted in Biden's way and Donald Trump has a very rare chance of a comeback. Yet the offical confirmation still remains to be announced.
In their tweet they said "Decision Desk HQ projects that @JoeBiden has won Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral college votes for a total of 273. Joe Biden has been elected the 46th President of the United States of America. Race called at 11-06 8:50 AM EST".
