With the surge of Covid-19 in the Captial of the country, Delhi's Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Monday clarified all the miscommunication and rumours flooding on social media that a second lockdown will be imposed in Delhi.

Places of worship that have been shut since March, finally reopened in Maharashtra on Monday with devotees observing Covid-19 precautions and norms issued by the state.

Health Experts fear that the drop in testing rate can become a problem in the future. Due to Diwali, the number of tests have rapidly drop downed. The country on Sunday recorded 30,458 new cases of Covid-19. This is the slowest day spike since July 14, but less test can be the reason for this low number says experts.

With that increase, the country's total tally increased to 88.45 lakh out of which 82.49 lakh gave recovered. The death toll increased up to 1,30,070 with 435 deaths in Sunday. The active cases in the country has fall below the 5 lakh mark with 4.65 lakh active cases.
