A Terror attack took in the city of Vienna, the Captial of Austria on Monday night the last evening before a second Coronavirus lockdown was to be imposted since Tuesday. Around 5 people have said to have dead and around 15 are wounded in this Attack says the local authority. One of the dead included one of the two attackers.
Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said on the incident "I am glad that our police were able to neutralize on the attackers. We will never allow ourselves to be intimidated by terrorism and will fight these attacks with all means".
Local Authorities said that several shots were fired after 8pm on a lively street in the centre of city. This was one of the six locations they had decided to attack. Some sources said that there are supposed to be more gunmen involved and the police operation took a long time.
Authorities in Vienna have now urged people to avoid going to open spaces and public transportation. They have also asked people to not to spread post or videos of this incident or the police operation so as not to endanger officers.
