"Nobody Can Take Film City Away From Mumbai": Maharashtra BJP Chief CK Patil

Just ahead of the meeting of Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath's with Bollywood Celebrities in Mumbai, Chandrakant Patil Chief of BJP in Maharashtra has said that "nobody can take Film City and it's glamour away from Mumbai."

Yogi Adityanath is due to arrive late this evening in Mumbai and is expected to meet Industrialists and Bollywood Film Celebrities in his visit. According to reports a spokesperson of the opposition party had alleged that this visit is a "conspiracy to shift Bollywood out of Mumbai".

While speaking to reporters Patil said " Yogiji may be coming here to study the film city and facilities being provided to the Industry, but nobody can take the film city and it's glamour away from Mumbai."

Earlier Yogi Adityanath had earlier unveiled an ambitious plan to set up a film city and rolled out an open offer to film stars to come to Uttar Pradesh.

The UP Government has already approved of a proposal is setting up of film city in Sector 21, in Gautam Buddha Nagar along the Yamuna Expressway.
