After announcing a night curfew yesterday, the Mumbai Police raided a club named DragonFly club in Mumbai where they booked Cricketer Suresh Raina, Singer Guru Randhawa,Interior Designer Susanne Khan and 34 other for allegedly breaking COVID-19 Norms.
According to reports, it was found that the club had been flouting the COVID-19 Norms for a long time. The Mumbai Police then raided the club situated at the JW Marriott in Andheri at 2:30 am on December 22 and found the club fully packed.
Some sources also said that Rapper Badshah allegedly fled away from the back gate. They along with the others have been booked under the Section 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), Section 269 (whoever unlawfully or negligently does not act which is, and which he knows or has a reason to believe to be,likely to spread the infection of any diseases dangerous to life) and Section 34 (Acts done by several persons in the furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code Act.
Mumbai Police Twitter Handle wasted no time in reminding people that rules are for everyone and is treated equally.
