Arsenal thrash West Brom 4-0 in a snowy evening

 

Having made a horrible start to the season, winning just 4 out of the 14 matches,It looks like Mikel Arteta's Arsenal are finding their form again as they won for a third successive game in a row as they thrashed West Brom 4-0 at the Hawthorns in a snowy evening.

Having beaten Chelsea 3-1 on Boxing Day and then edging past Brighton by a solo goal, Arsenal came into this game with momentum finally on their side. They took the lead against struggling West Brom in the 23rd minute through a moment of individual brillance from Kieran Tierney.

5 minutes later, Arsenal would double their lead as the younger duo of Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka combined. Lacazette flicked a ball down right side channel for Rowe to collect who cutted it back to Saka to who made no mistake in his finish to make it 2-0 for the visitors.

Arsenal added two more in the second half in 4 minutes thanks to a brace from Lacazette in the 60th and 64th minute to make it 4-0 for Arsenal. Both of his goals were converted from close range with Tierney picking the assist for the 4th one. With this win Arsenal jumped up to 11th in the table,just 3 behind 6th place Chelsea though having played a game more.
